Formed in 2007 through the consolidation of Imphy Alloys’ alloys business and Imphy Mill, and renamed "Stainless & Nickel Alloys", the APERAM Group Alloys business seeks to differentiate itself in the design, production of nickel and cobalt alloys, as well as certain specific stainless steels.

Over the years, APERAM- Nickel and Stainless alloys- formerly known as IMPHY ALLOYS has always been at the forefront of technological advances. The use of these alloys is through a wide spectrum of industries, ranging from watches to the present day aircraft.

As a matter of fact, the production of the composite metal structure parts of the modern day Airbus A 380 and the BOEING 787 Dreamliner, are facilitated by Invar® moulds, while the onboard generators are made using Cobalt alloys.
